As I told Tim privately, Lammy — who is an evangelical Christian — comes from a long,long tradition of collaboration with LGBT from black movements inside the UK Labour party.

I don’t personally know him but am sure that he has worked with, and relied upon, LGBT allies. The passion in his words goes way back, thirty years, with both groups working to aid the other.

This is also true of Muslims! In the UK! Contrary to what u may have assumed there is an unreported story here, every Muslim Labor MP and most Conservative Muslim politicians were for gay marriage.

Th exact same progressive coalition which LGBT UK progressives in our Labour party forged with black people has also happened with Muslims.

The same has occurred across Europe, from Muslim parliamentarians — pro-LGBT activism — and it has had zero coverage in the States, where stories about European Muslim gay-hate abound.

Pro-LGBT activism from straight Muslims is one huge takeaway from this British debate which has had practically no MSM take-up.
