The Politico’s Mike Allen has gotten a look at Larua Bush’s new memoirs:
LAURA BUSH’s memoir, “Spoken from the Heart
” (Scribner, 456 pages), is officially out Tuesday. $16.20 on Amazon http://amzn.to/bP6eKd The New York Times has published an account based on a copy obtained at a bookstore, freeing POLITICO to report the contents of an embargoed hardback provided by the publisher.

Well, I can actually see them having gay friends before W taking this path. I can also see Laura getting a couple of calls and feeling embarrassed about how dumb W was, but after getting him through coke and buzz she knew this by heart.
It would be nice to hear from those gay friends and see where they stand now.

Gonna have to echo TampaZeke there.
Also, those four sentences are *all* we have for Laura Bush’s take on the subject so far. I’d be interested in reading the next paragraph or three (once the book is actually in at my library, that is.) Somehow, I doubt she is going to say anything that overtly criticizes her husband.
