Seventh Day Adventist East and Central African President Blasious Ruguri
The Seventh -day Adventist (S.D.A) church has commended President Yoweri Museveni and Rebecca Kadaga, the speaker of parliament for their strong stand against homosexuality and corruption in the country.
Pastor Blasious Ruguri, the Seventh-day Adventist church president in East and Central Africa, said the church supports the government in the fight against homosexuality and corruption.
“Our stand is “zero tolerance” to this vice and to western influence on this crucial issue because God says no to it. We are together with the President and the Speaker and we fully support the Anti-Homosexuality Bill. I call upon all religious ministers, all Ugandans, and all Africans to say no to Homosexuality. Let us stand for our sovereignty as Ugandans and as God fearing people even the heavens fall.”
Ruguri made the statements at a Mbarara SDA church at the inauguration of the Southwestern Uganda Field, which New Vision describes as similar to a doicese. The article also states that the church also installed a field president, identified as Bishop Bernard Kakuru Bampata, at the ceremony. President Yoweri Museveni sent Rose Namayanja, the State Minister for Luwero Triangle, to represent him as the guest of honor. Namayanja read a statement from Museveni which reportedly reassured the gathering “that the government will not tolerate homosexuality and corruption vices.”
In 2010, the church’s Uganda president John Kakembo gave his support for the Anti-Homosexuality Bill. The Church responded with a tepid statement, saying simply, “These views do not reflect the values of the Church as expressed in published statements on same sex conduct.” It did not however call for a retraction of Kakembo’s support for the bill.

These are views outside the context of the Seventh Day Adventist officially. I do however believe the President understands the dire consequences homosexuals have had. He obviously is either deranged, or we do not understand the dire phenomenon; since we do not share it.

the view of the president is the same as that of the seventh-day adventist church except that they should be killed, tho i neva heard him say so either. God condemed this ugly act and sees it as an abomination be for Him, so is the stand of the church.

Personally, I stay away from deities that ask us to hate and kill each other. When your deity asks you to hate and kill, that’s when you should know that who you really are worshipping is Satan in disguise.

In Bible Genesis, Chapter 17, 18 through 19, it talks of GOD’s visit to Abraham and Lot at different intervals of times. On each visit it was about looking into or the target being Sodom and Gomorrah.
In Chapter 19, especially, Lot, being the nephew of Abraham lived in Sodom. Read Bible Genesis Chapter 19, verse 1 through 29. The episode seen/read here reveals the facts that there were practices of homosexuality at the time, which GOD ALMIGHTY came down to investigate personally, not even through HIS Prophet or any such Servants (Abraham, Lot, etc). Now, as Christians, infact practicing Christians we agree that any acts of sexual perversions are abomination before GOD ALMIGHTY, thus fatal sins punishable by a death sentence by GOD ALMIGHTY.
As seen in the Genesis foretasted, Christians cannot be seen to be condoning such acts of LGBT, at any costs. What the Pastor or President of SDA Church implies is very clear but He did not mention anywhere ”killing” of LGBT, even when we all as practicing Christians will never agree with the State promotion of LGBT Activists, these activists seeks very cheap campaigns by smearing whoever is against their acts. Know yee all that you are not pioneers of this vice neither are you anywhere near to it’s origin, sad to say the purported pioneers where wholly exterminated by GOD’s fire of brimstone at Sodom and Gomorrah. By the ipso facto that the vice is still alive means that it’s not any race, man, tribe, national, tongue, culture or tradition of Human beings but an evil agenda that creeps into man’s life since evil/satan has not been erased yet on the face of life, it can be likened to crimes such as murder, rape, robbery, etc where, the culprits are not born but practice the same due to evil influence in their lives. So, LGBT activists cannot be seen to claim any right as such even knowing very well that their comrades in such acts were totally destroyed yet they still exist today as a vice of course. This is NOT anybody’s culture, not African, not European/White man culture, not Asian, not American, not Jewish or Arab cultures, not any Human culture but an evil that has powerful influence in our sexual lives. The activists needs World wide Counseling schemes so, they can know it is as same as addiction to drugs, crimes, etc.
This could also, be an agenda to make Mankind extinct since such pairs do not reproduce thereby putting a stop to Man’s growth. Be very sure as the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY LIVES HE can still do as HE did to the extinct cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, don’t provoke HIM dear, it may not be corporate death anymore but individually as against the promoters of the said vice, my or our objections to this is for your own goodness sake, not that any SDA Pastor/President wants death for you, no. GOD ALMIGHTY take care of you all.

Ongom, you obviously believe that your sincerely held myths and fantasies not only qualify you, but also authorize you, to dictate to other people how they must live. But the reality is that those myths and fantasies make you especially unqualified, and not at all authorized, to dictate to anyone.
It’s ironic how often people who are the least qualified on virtually any subject are arrogantly certain that they have the correct answers on everything. And nothing validates that level of arrogant certainty quite like religious delusions.
