Hi guys.
Perhaps some of you noticed that I have not made much contribution to BTB in the past month. It isn’t because I’ve been captured by space aliens, joined an ex-gay ministry, or even been feuding with Jim. I’ve just been very very busy with my real job and have barely had time to even read the site, much less formulate opinion or research an issue.
I’ll be back. I promise.
And in the meanwhile, thank you to the other site contributors for the truly excellent coverage of events, presentation of stories that simply are not told anywhere else, and fair-minded analysis of what all of this means both to us personally and in context of the Culture War that rages over whether or not gay humans should be treated like other humans.

In 2005, the Southern Poverty Law Center wrote that “[Paul] Cameron’s ‘science’ echoes Nazi Germany.” What the SPLC didn”t know was Cameron doesn’t just “echo” Nazi Germany. Anti-gay activists often charge that gay men and women pose a threat to children. Timothy, good to hear from you. I think we’d all like to see you (in spandex of course), fighting ex-gay space alients under the nefarious leadership of (who else) Jim. Have you considered a comic book series?

Timothy, you are soooooooo missed around here! Hope things lighten up soon.
As for the comic book suggestion, we would need an artist. The best I can manage are stick figures, which of course would not do Timothy’s fine physique justice.

Yeah, even my stick figures suck. Can’t help you there. But arbitary and absurd story lines? That I can work with. Is it true that that next week, you’ll be confronting the entity known only as The Santorum? (Set windshield wipers on “high”)
