Gays To Blame For Big Three’s Failures

Jim Burroway

December 11th, 2008

Guess who’s to blame for the Big Three’s woes. That’s right, it’s us. RightMichigan has it all figured out:

The Big Three automakers — DaimlerChrysler, General Motors and Ford Motor — announced in June that they would offer health benefits to the same-sex partners of their 466,000 hourly and salaried employees in the United States. I could not find much on the cost of providing these benefits however ….

That “however” is his way of saying that the absence of actual data isn’t going to deter him one bit. He goes on to guesstimate that the Big Three could save $125 Million. Or is it $25 million? I can’t tell. There are too many elementary math errors, typos, and undocumented assumptions to make heads or tails out of it. But what the heck, it doesn’t matter anyway. This is why the Big Three need $30 billion. You see? It’s all our fault.

Hartline: God Rains Down Fire Against Gays

Jim Burroway

November 17th, 2008

hartline2.bmpUh-oh. San Diego’s Christianist gadfly James Hartline is hearing God’s voice again:

Each time homosexual activists attempt to force their agenda on California, there have been raging, massive, incinerating fires sweeping across the California landscape.

Today, people are running for their lives as 800 California homes have burned down and the firestorm is spreading like a nuclear holocaust. Yet, the radical homosexual anarchists rampage upon the streets of this state demanding the destruction of marriage and family, and the establishment of their socialistic dark vision for society.

Wildfires, tsunamis, economic collapse, disease — yeah, they’re impressive, but where’s the pestilence, rivers turned to blood or death of the firstborn? If you ask me, we’re settling for second best. I guess it’s true; maybe we’re too apathetic. I personally blame the HRC.

That Didn’t Take Long

A tiger escaped its enclosure in the San Francisco zoo and killing one young man and seriously mauled two more on Christmas Day, just as the zoo was about to close. Our friends at Westboro Baptist had their press release ready to go the very next day:Westboro Press Release

Uh, happy Feast of St. Stevens (a.k.a Boxing Day)…

California Wildfires Bring Out The Crazies

Jim Burroway

October 23rd, 2007

James HartlineSan Diego ex-gay “Christian” activist and gadfly James Hartline knows why California’s burning:

They shook their fists at God and said, “We don’t care what God says, we will issue our legal brief to support gay marriage in San Diego!” Then Mayor Jerry Sanders mocked the Christian vote and signed off on this rebellious legal document to support same-sex marriage. And then the streets of La Jolla under the Mt. Soledad Cross began to cave in.

They shook their fists at God and said, “We don’t care what the Bible says, We want the California school children indoctrinated into homosexuality!” And then Governor Schwarzenegger signed into law the heinous SB777 which bans the use of “mom” and “dad” in the text books and promotes homosexuality to all school children in California.

And then the wildfires of Southern California engulfed the land like a raging judgment against the radicalized anti-christian California rebels.

Glenn BeckYes, Harline’s a crazy old coot. That why the only attention he gets is accompanied with laughter. Unlike CNN’s Glenn Beck:

I think there is a handful of people who hate America. Unfortunately for them, a lot of them are losing their homes in a forest fire today.

In this original BTB Investigation, we unveil the tragic story of Kirk Murphy, a four-year-old boy who was treated for “cross-gender disturbance” in 1970 by a young grad student by the name of George Rekers. Slouching Towards Kampala: Uganda’s Deadly Embrace of Hate

When we first reported on three American anti-gay activists traveling to Kampala for a three-day conference, we had no idea that it would be the first report of a long string of events leading to a proposal to institute the death penalty for LGBT people. But that is exactly what happened. In this report, we review our collection of more than 500 posts to tell the story of one nation’s embrace of hatred toward gay people. This report will be updated continuously as events continue to unfold. Check here for the latest updates.

Paul Cameron’s World

In 2005, the Southern Poverty Law Center wrote that “[Paul] Cameron’s ‘science’ echoes Nazi Germany.” What the SPLC didn”t know was Cameron doesn’t just “echo” Nazi Germany. He quoted extensively from one of the Final Solution’s architects. This puts his fascination with quarantines, mandatory tattoos, and extermination being a “plausible idea” in a whole new and deeply disturbing light.

The FRC’s Briefs Are Showing

Tony Perkins’ Family Research Council submitted an Amicus Brief to the Maryland Court of Appeals as that court prepared to consider the issue of gay marriage. We examine just one small section of that brief to reveal the junk science and fraudulent claims of the Family “Research” Council.

Daniel Fetty Doesn’t Count

Daniel FettyThe FBI’s annual Hate Crime Statistics aren’t as complete as they ought to be, and their report for 2004 was no exception. In fact, their most recent report has quite a few glaring holes. Holes big enough for Daniel Fetty to fall through.
