Poor boy. This is failure of humanity. “This child is attracted to other boys, lets kill him and make him suffer”. Oh, ok, humans…

There was no ISIS before the Bush-Clinton invasion of Iraq. If you support killing Iraqi LGBT people, vote for Hillary Clinton. (Notice I’m not telling anyone to vote for Trump either, so don’t pull that “You must be a Republican” crap on me.)

You might be a liberal turd if you’re response to the killing of gay people is “oh, what a failure of humanity.” Stop clutching your pearls, Mary, and either learn how to fight back and defend our people or sit down and stop criticizing those of us who are fighting back. Those lazy liberals and their refusal to do anything more than bitch and whine are pat of the reason gay 13-year olds are killing themselves in 2016. Those kids look at you and think “wow, there really is no hope for people like me.”

Lonnie,

I urge you to review our comments policy now, before things get out of hand. We love discussion and we love exchanging a wide variety of viewpoints. But if leading off with epithets like “liberal turd” and making sweeping generalizations with both guns blazing is your thing, you might be more comfortable with other sites on the left or the right that are more interested in bile than ideas.

On the other hand, if you want to engage in a real discussion with real original ideas AND treat other commenters with respect, we’d love to have you here.

Slouching Towards Kampala: Uganda’s Deadly Embrace of Hate

This report will be updated continuously as events continue to unfold. Check here for the latest updates.

Paul Cameron’s World

In 2005, the Southern Poverty Law Center wrote that “[Paul] Cameron’s ‘science’ echoes Nazi Germany.” What the SPLC didn”t know was Cameron doesn’t just “echo” Nazi Germany. He quoted extensively from one of the Final Solution’s architects. This puts his fascination with quarantines, mandatory tattoos, and extermination being a “plausible idea” in a whole new and deeply disturbing light.

On February 10, I attended an all-day “Love Won Out” ex-gay conference in Phoenix, put on by Focus on the Family and Exodus International.
