Miss South Carolina contestant looking for a mapHappy New Year! As always, we hope your new year will be better than the last.

One improvement for the new year that I think we can all hope for would be this: that some of those phrases we heard in 2007 don’t make it into 2008. The title of this post is my favorite candidate. What’s yours?

I agree with Emily, if I hear “gay lifestyle” one more time, I wll go postal!

And because of my current job: “Can I have a Strawberries and Cream Frappaccino?” NO! YOU CAN’T!

Ooh, I have more! Thanks Jim for making this topic.

“pro-gay agenda/gay agenda”

“Judeo-Christian” (this word is an oxymoron to us Jews.)

“unwanted same-sex attractions”

“SSAD (same-sex attraction disorder)”

“pharisaic”

“bible-believing christian” (as if only one type of christian “TRULY” believes in the bible.)

“the Truth” (use of truth with a capital T.)

I also hate the way “liberal” and “conservative” are used. “liberal” has become a hateful epithet.
