Google Pride

Google’s celebrating along with the rest of us. To see what I mean, just go to Google and search for something gay. It should look something like this:

Do you see the rainbow stripe between the sponsored ads and the search results? And it’s context sensitive. Search for “gay Paris,” and the stripe’s not there. Very clever!

this is one of those times when a hyperlink is both helpful and confusing.

I thought when you said “just go to google and search for something gay” I took that to mean put “something gay” in as the key words. With the words “something gay” underlined, it makes sense that you literally have to type those keywords.

Thanks for providing the direct link to Google by the way, I’m sure I’d never have found the site without it! ;-)

Google are very positive to the gay community in Ireland and were one of the few firms to sponsor a float in this year’s (much rained-upon) Pride parade.

Kudos to them!
