Carrie Keeps her Crown

The Donald has spoken. Carrie Prejean can remain Miss California USA. Trump doesn’t think the pics are so bad. And he should know; he’s a klassy fella who loves opposite marriage so much that he’s had three of them.

TMZ now has new pics of Carrie. They appear to be of the same photo shoot that we were the first to report about on May 1st.

Can we please move on from her now? I’m sick of getting into arguments with stupid people who think this martyred bimbo said anything that proves Gay people shouldn’t have equal rights.

Well, I’m surprised. I thought for sure that given she abandoned her duties as Miss California they’d fire her. Maybe they would have if it hadn’t been left up to Donald Trump. I sure don’t think much of him for allowing someone who’s shirking her duties to continue on in the job, I don’t think the people running the Miss California pageant can be too happy about that.

What Keith and Shawna need to do now is make her job so difficult that she will want to quit.

She is the perfect ambassador for the heterosexual only marriage proponents. She is actively looking for Mr. Right, Right-Wing, or just Right Now. A bimbo who will be on her 5th marriage before homosexual Americans can get the right to get married and divorced like the heterosexual Americans. We are missing the one group who holds our marriage destiny in their hands..LAWYERS! A new client-base to bleed AND handle love gone bad. Politicians are lawyers gone private, getting a pay check and benefits on their terms.

I wasn’t gonna be surprised if they came to some compromise, and maybe the pageant reeled her in. But it’s not looking that way since she’s even lying about the fact that she’s promoted an agenda in the last few weeks, talking to Dobson and recording robocalls.

I do wonder if Donald saw these nipple pics before the presser.

Does this mean we can finally stop obsessing over her? Please?

Ok, the pics before were pretty tame. You could have seen those on a magazine cover.

These, however… not so much.

I’m sick of the whole thing too, but if she broke the rules of pageant, then she should be reprimanded appropriately. It’s that simple.

Unfortunately, it also means that she wouldn’t be going away, either.

Trump is a businessman. He rescued the Miss USA pagent (for unknown reasons). When is the last time that anyone really paid any attention to it? From his perspective, this whole thing has been a boon. The pagent got lots of press. Prejean keep generating more and more publicity. Article after article says that the contest was so close that this one quesiton allowed another contest to win. Almost making it sound like a nail-biter. The Donald has been mentioned again and again as the final judge (publicity without anything directly negative towards him). And now he can forgive the young harlot her alleged underage (?illegal) photoshoot.

Why is anyone surprised how this played out?

I didn’t see it directly reported that Donald Trump had talked to Miss P. during his deliberation. The California pageant authorities wanted her fired because she had cut off all communication with them and was not otherwise making herself available to carry out the responsibilities of the title Miss California USA. Of course, they brought up other breaches in their press conference as well as roundly scolding Maggie Gallagher and NOM for their roles in those breaches.

This is perhaps Trumps way of sidestepping the issue for now. Later, if Miss P does in fact breach her contract to the point of breaking it, he can say there was no problem with her politics, semi-nude photos, or all of that NOM business, she just didn’t (or elected to not) hold up her end of the contract and needs to be replaced. in the meantime, NOM et al can’t claim the pageant(s) attempted to muzzle their new pseudo-mouthpiece, dragging Trump into the fray, and “martyring” Miss P. in the eyes of the “faithful”.

Actually, a pretty savvy business move on the part of The Donald. This story will probably simmer down until or unless she (again?) breaches her contract in a way that seriously embarrasses or inconveniences Mr. Trump.

John said “Article after article says that the contest was so close that this one quesiton allowed another contest to win.”.

I’ve never read any article that said that. All the articles I read said that the contest wasn’t close, Miss California wasn’t a front runner, and ultimately the question made no difference to the outcome.

Not surprised, she looks like his ex-wives. Eventually she could be the next Mrs. Trump.

Maybe it is time for gays to boycott (at least not work for) beauty pageants. They would crumble without gay backing. LOL

Carrie’s run through 15 and 1/2 minutes but I’m still interested in seeing how NOM reacts to all of this.

That red star over one of Prejean’s breasts – was that in the original picture, or did Box Turtle Bulletin digitally add it? Really, if you think that humiliating Prejean is such a good idea, I can’t see why you wouldn’t think that showing people an uncensored version of that picture was the right thing to do.

TMZ put the star there.

Thank God! I’m honestly relieved that she got to keep her crown! I don’t even want to THINK about how Gallagher and the Right would further paint her as a victim/martyr!

Gee, quo III finds fault with showing Carrie Prejean’s web of lies? *shock!!* Of course, he/she is *surely* smart enough to know that putting topless photos on a website is a great way to get flagged in a corporate filter and make it unsafe for work.

Unless it really IS all about humiliating Carrie – but it seems that Carrie’s a lot better at humiliating herself. I wonder if Satan has tempted her or God whispered in her ear lately.

Slouching Towards Kampala: Uganda’s Deadly Embrace of Hate

Paul Cameron’s World

In 2005, the Southern Poverty Law Center wrote that “[Paul] Cameron’s ‘science’ echoes Nazi Germany.” What the SPLC didn”t know was Cameron doesn’t just “echo” Nazi Germany. He quoted extensively from one of the Final Solution’s architects. This puts his fascination with quarantines, mandatory tattoos, and extermination being a “plausible idea” in a whole new and deeply disturbing light.
