“I’ve been a Catholic all my life. My faith means a lot to me. Marriage, to me, is a great institution that works, and it’s what I want for my children, too.”

What do you think? Will it sway any voters? If so, who? If no, why not?

Critiques (positive and negative) welcome, but complaints will get rasberried  —  unless you’re a donor or a  volunteer.

Lewiston is really the heart of the conservative French Catholic community in the state, so strategically, I’d say it was an excellent choice to have someone from that community come out publicly in favor of No on 1. Whether it will sway enough people in the end is always hard to say, but it was to the point and very well done, IMO.

Great ad. We need more like this. More aggressive ones also! Wanda Sykes would make a great spokesperson! Come on Wanda, a little schlapshtik and a message along with it! Please! Please!

Great ad from a very supportive mother. If this ad does not move people, then nothing will.

Who can argue with mom?

Go mom! I think it’d be better if they started with the quote, “I’ve been a catholic all my life…” etc. Then, when we later hear that she supports gay marriage, it will be too late for people to tune it out.
