Carrie’s porn loses her a gig with NJ “family defenders”

Carrie’s boob enhancements and nipples on display were overlookable offenses for the New Jersey Family Policy Council. She was scheduled to be their headliner for a Friday night fundraiser.

But it appears that in making the tape, Carrie screwed herself.

From TMZ

Carrie Prejean will not be defending traditional families in New Jersey tonight. The dethroned Miss California USA was scheduled to be the headliner at a Defenders of the Family fundraiser, but she was removed from the roster following news that her XXX solo sex tape essentially nullified her religious discrimination lawsuit against the Miss USA pageant.

It will be interesting to see how well sales go for her new book, Still Standing, the untold story of my fight against gossip, hate, and political attacks, which is to be released Monday.

p.s. Amazon already has a previewable copy. From what I could tell of the first few pages, it is breathless cotton-candy fluff. Perhaps it would have been a better choice to run it as a serial in the National Enquirer.

She would have done a lot better to sell the tape.

At last, a Family Defender that is really defendng families by keeping little miss pornlet out of thier pulpit. Good for them.

Porn and adultery and the resulting divorces are a WAY bigger danger to marriage than gay unions ever could be. It’s about time they devoted some attention to those instead of spending the majority of their time and money to discriminate against gays.

Thanks for sharing. I am reminded of a phrase, she was a shame to all women… it’s one thing to profess a belief, but then the world of modeling does tend to produce reality that there is no money made by most of the women in the game without showing skin. I agree that adultery, porn, etc. is a far greater danger to most people’s marriage than a civil union between two mature folks.

I do think however, the that we all run around with the feeling of a target on our backs, when whatever group we are part of us picked out.

This gal professed to be one thing, but her actions weren’t consistent with what that group believes… not showing your body off for money… and yet, what is modeling?

And the money is SO much better than say, flipping burgers.

I had a long arguement with a gal in college, she modelled in the next town for money, in an art class. However, she’d been a victim of sexual abuse as a child. I suggested — for her — that perhaps that wasn’t the best idea, as she still felt pain over what had happened. She was making a number of choices that only hurt herself.

It was painful, but at in today’s dollars $200 per sitting… it was great money.

Well, if the model wins the contest… she gets…money.

Perhaps the question could be asked long before the contest started… if you believe your body is special, that God has some ownership, and has suggested you use it for good, and not to tempt others in how you display it… would you ever think about modeling seriously, no matter how pretty someone is?

Brittney Spears & family come to mind.

But, porn and adultery also come out of selfishness, and pride.

Yes, I feel like those things are more destructive in a marriage, than the actions of others outside the marriage.

But as soon as this gal stood up, and gave her answer (and let’s be honest, the question was a great setup, but hardly worth asking… it did more for the girl’s career than the winner of the Miss America contest… who’s name… escapes me. LOL) she gave an answer, “in my opinion.”

Hey, if we lived in the land of opinions, who cares what yours is if it doesn’t impact me… what dos matter is what is true–and then what happens in society because of what is true.

Silly girl, she is getting what she deserves if she really did act that way… and more silly the guy who marries her, cause she lacks sense.

If the christian “ministries” really care about Carrie, instead of distancing themselves from her now, they’ll try and teach her that you can’t have your cake and eat it too…. one can’t be a spokesperson for defending the family AND make diddling videos on the side, for members of those said families to see and get all stirred up sexually over and go do something stupid.

Men are sexually aroused by (not all, no lectures today kthnx) by sight, and their sight already has enough tempting stuff to look at without adding explicitly sexual images to the mix already going on in their head when they think about going home to their wife and screaming kids.

Plus, is it really fair for men to compare their wife to a beauty queen with a tanning bed glow and fake boobs, perfectly coifed hair and gleaming white teeth, whose daily job consists of beutifying herself?

And is it really rational to make a career out of using your body to sexually arouse men, get caught after being in more than one sex shoot, and then expect everyone to look the other way while you defend families?

I think Carrie is dumber than a rock, but somebody needs to take her under thier wing and convince her to either eschew even the appearance of evil like her Bible says (not likely,) or teach how not to get caught. If there’s anybody who would know how to screw around and cover their tracks, it’s a conservative christian minister.

Slouching Towards Kampala: Uganda’s Deadly Embrace of Hate

Paul Cameron’s World

In 2005, the Southern Poverty Law Center wrote that “[Paul] Cameron’s ‘science’ echoes Nazi Germany.” What the SPLC didn”t know was Cameron doesn’t just “echo” Nazi Germany. He quoted extensively from one of the Final Solution’s architects. This puts his fascination with quarantines, mandatory tattoos, and extermination being a “plausible idea” in a whole new and deeply disturbing light.
