So that’s what Ben looks like. Handsome man and in Iceland too, eh? I saw this one last night but didn’t know who it was at the time. I’m enjoying some of these videos, nice encouragement even for those of us much older than their intended audience.

Thanks to BTB for backing the It Gets Better project and posting some of the vids. I’ve watched a whole lot of the IGB vids and have been inspired and deeply touched by the posters’ spirit of giving and wanting to help, their need (in many cases) to testify to the cruelties they have suffered and witnessed, and their pride at having emerged alive and, surprisingly often, as open, honest, happy, successful, human beings. Today’s vids by Ron Fellows and Ben Mathis are wonderful!

Thanks guys, it was a bit nerve wracking to put this out on the internet for all to see, but I’ve actually already gotten an email from someone who it helped and we are talking. I’m the first they’ve ever told they were gay. That made it all worth it to me if I can help a single person.
