Honestly, I haven’t had a problem with any of the stuff that BTB discusses on here…but isn’t this post a little low? I mean two women were killed and others were assaulted by this guy. Instead of playing the “heterosexual agenda” card, can we all just stop and think of the poor people affected by the violence that this one goon perpetrated?

I’m going to have to disagree with Everett. I thought the article was good Jim. It’s just as much of the hidden heterosexual agenda just as the bullying is. Their secret plan is to have us kill ourselves by making us feel not worthy of this planet.

Everett, exactly, it was just one goon who perpetrated these crimes. And the fact that he’s a heterosexual gives no credence to the existence of some supposed “heterosexual agenda” to hurt people in this fashion. Jim is just extrapolating a heterosexual agenda out of the story in a similar way that some of our anti-gay opponents would extrapolate a “homosexual agenda” out of one (homosexual) person’s wrong-doings.

Justsearching, you’ve missed the entire point of these posts by Jim. Its not to suggest that there is a heterosexual agenda that indicts all heterosexuals as evildoers, its to show that its just as absurd to claim all gays are evil because some are as it is to claim all heterosexuals are evil because some are.

Priya… I agree with you completely.

I didn’t mean to suggest that Jim actually believed there was such a thing as a “heterosexual agenda.” I meant, as you state, that extrapolating a heterosexual or homosexual agenda out of one person’s bad actions is absurd.
