good observation Timothy. We know that often when people have ‘issues’ about homosexuality…..that is exactly right THEY have issues.

The psychologist/therapist themselves playing out some sense of failure or rejection……unable to be non-judgemental.

When I came out, my father joined the seminary. I think the gay kid comes first.

    quo,

It is not how many of these children of religious right leaders or ministers that are gay its the fact that they have gay children. It’s kind of ironic if you ask me.

Makes you think about the nature vs. nurture debate.

And there’s David Knight, son of California state senator Pete Knight who campaigned fiercely against gay rights and same sex marriage in California.

Yeah…I’ve been wondering for years how much of their anti-gay activism amounts to punishing the gay community for their kid being gay. Or punishing the kid by proxy.

You can add Arthur Goldberg of JONAH to the list.

    John,

Does Arthur Goldberg have a gay child? If so can you please provide a link to a source?

I’m not aware of that one.

    Thanks
