NOM takes Saturday off

Timothy Kincaid

July 31st, 2010

The National Organization for Marriage has explained the tiny crowds showing up for their Tour of Mostly-Empty City Plazas as being because their supporters have real jobs. Well, it’s Saturday and many people are off work for the weekend.

So it does make it a bit peculiar that NOM decided not to hold a rally today.

Well yeah that’s the truth! They just can’t pull a crowd.

I’ve said this time and again about those opposed to full equality for LGBT people. They are a loud minority at best.

Did they have one scheduled that they canceled?

Yeah, that cheap dig at the large group of opposition demonstrators was just that.

As for not scheduling something on everyone’s day off…well, that does beg explaining.
Like how can BB be on the road leaving his SEVEN children behind and their mother to cope with such a brood of little kids without their father?

I would think his time for ANY of them would be precious and few.
There isn’t a sign of them anywhere. It’s hard enough to compete with siblings for your parent’s attention.

But a political cause that doesn’t need it at ALL?
So much for what he thinks fathers are for, as opposed to what HE’S doing as a father, right?

As far as I know it is just another example of phenominally bad planning.

He obviously thinks “stay at home mom” means “raises kids primarily all by yourself while dad wins the bread.”

But wait. Doesn’t an overbearing mother and a distant father cause homosexuality??? ..and in THIS case, BB is distant in the LITERAL sense.
