Klassy klassy NOM removes list of endorsed candidates

Timothy Kincaid

September 14th, 2012

Earlier tonight the National Organization for Marriage had a posted list of candidates in New York whom they encouraged their followers to support. I went to double check to see if NOM was as much the kiss of death as they usually are … but just like magic that list had disappeared. Poof.

Oh NOM, you’re so klassy, you must be a Kardashian.

I think you meant followers. although I suppose if NOM just asked their flowers to support certain candidates, there wouldn’t have been an issue

I wonder how many of the candidates asked to be taken off the list.

I suspect they may have more flowers than followers, but you’re right and I’ll fix it.

Just out of curiosity, how did the NY races turn out?

As of earlier this morning:

Grisanti won by almost 20 points.

The races involving Saland and McDonald are close and will ultimately be determined by absentee ballots. Prior to absentee ballot tallies, Saland was slightly ahead and McDonald was slightly trailing his opponent.
