Bryan Fischer Wants To Put Everyone In Jail

Jim Burroway

At least he’s not just picking on gay people:

These are behaviors that can be made illegal, and should be made illegal: those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral – that means it’s perfectly appropriate to have laws against what the law calls fornication, absolutely appropriate to make that illegal; men who practice homosexuality, perfectly permissible – in fact, we’re directed, we’re told in the Scriptures that it’s a good idea, this is the purpose of the law, it’s for the lawless and disobedient to engage in homosexuality – it’s perfectly appropriate for that kind of behavior to be against the law.

I’m sorry, this guy is the pervert…wanting to peer into my life, bedroom and such. I thought being Christian meant having a personal and private relationship with Christ and all. I also know Christ had a distain for laws made by the self righteous. Why do assholes like him NOT know this much? I suppose being a hypocrit and a voyeur gives you holy providence.

Like most disingenuous anti-gay men, he seems fine with lesbians. I can’t tell if that’s because lesbians don’t gross him out or if it’s because women in general don’t count with him and lesbian sex isn’t really sex.

I’ll buy into this right after he genuinely demands to outlaw Bacon.

Hmmmm. Bryan Fischer shaves his face and cuts his hair short, even though Scripture forbids it (Leviticus 19:27). Funny how he’s not calling for THAT to be outlawed.

Hmm, three meals a day, a gym and a lover…

Mr. Fischer probably only has sex when it is man on top of wife in the dark & get it over with quick. Anybody caught doing it any other way is doing it wrong.

And interestingly he completely overlooks the Lesbians. Either it’a hell of a blind spot for him, or he’s also guilty of sexism.

Not a good place for him to be in this day and age.

So can we lock his ass up for judging and lying, please?? What about idolatry? For in this case we surely have a man who places his own opinions above God.

TampaZeke said, “Like most disingenuous anti-gay men, he seems fine with lesbians.”

Tony P said, “And interestingly he completely overlooks the Lesbians.”

I noticed that too. Perhaps, like so many other straight men, Bryan feels fire in his loins while fantasizing about hot lesbian action. A perusal of straight porn will reveal that inclusion of lesbian scenes is quite common.

Unlike male/male sex, which is widely understood as the ultimate sin, lesbian sex is apparently one those lesser sins, like gluttony, perhaps. If homosexuality only occurred among women, I wonder if there would be an anti-gay industry at all.

I also think it’s weird that he fails to mention lesbianism. But I can’t imagine this guy’s liking lesbian sex. He didn’t want Elena Kagan (rumored lesbian) serving on SCOTUS. I think Fischer’s omission is a combination of sexism and bizarre fixation on gay male sex.

Personally, as a straight guy myself I *Don’t* understand this ‘bizarre fixation on gay male sex.’

If you’re not gay it doesn’t affect you, if you don’t want to engage in it why think about it a lot. This tendency among guys of a certain political or religious bent is really starting to creep me out.

Of course, from what I’ve observed a lot of the worst ones turn out to be closet cases…George Rekers for example.

Of course if you lock up all the homosexuals, that isn’t going to stop the sex unless they are all in solitary confinement.

In this original BTB Investigation, we unveil the tragic story of Kirk Murphy, a four-year-old boy who was treated for “cross-gender disturbance” in 1970 by a young grad student by the name of George Rekers. Slouching Towards Kampala: Uganda’s Deadly Embrace of Hate

When we first reported on three American anti-gay activists traveling to Kampala for a three-day conference, we had no idea that it would be the first report of a long string of events leading to a proposal to institute the death penalty for LGBT people. But that is exactly what happened. In this report, we review our collection of more than 500 posts to tell the story of one nation’s embrace of hatred toward gay people. This report will be updated continuously as events continue to unfold. Check here for the latest updates.

Paul Cameron’s World

In 2005, the Southern Poverty Law Center wrote that “[Paul] Cameron’s ‘science’ echoes Nazi Germany.” What the SPLC didn”t know was Cameron doesn’t just “echo” Nazi Germany. He quoted extensively from one of the Final Solution’s architects. This puts his fascination with quarantines, mandatory tattoos, and extermination being a “plausible idea” in a whole new and deeply disturbing light.

From the Inside: Focus on the Family’s “Love Won Out”

On February 10, I attended an all-day “Love Won Out” ex-gay conference in Phoenix, put on by Focus on the Family and Exodus International. In this series of reports, I talk about what I learned there: the people who go to these conferences, the things that they hear, and what this all means for them, their families and for the rest of us.

Straight From The Source: What the “Dutch Study” Really Says About Gay Couples

Anti-gay activists often cite the “Dutch Study” to claim that gay unions last only about 1½ years and that the these men have an average of eight additional partners per year outside of their steady relationship. Daniel FettyThe FBI’s annual Hate Crime Statistics aren’t as complete as they ought to be, and their report for 2004 was no exception. In fact, their most recent report has quite a few glaring holes. Holes big enough for Daniel Fetty to fall through.
