All right, stupid questions, but “in fact, investigators weren’t even sure whether that death was a murder or suicide”… how could someone possibly do that to himself?

And was the porch murder ever solved, or did the police even care enough to try?

My late Partner, Larry Grenier, danced with alvin ailey decades ago. He was the only white boy in the company, because apparently, they had to have one.He always used to laugh about the effects of affirmative action.

I remember Larry Grenier dancing with them! I LOVED that he stood out for being white! Wow..I didn’t know that Ben. He was a fantastic dancer.
The Ailey Co. is one of the greatest for their standards in modern dance to this day. And one of my favorites. Them, Pilobolus and Garth Fagin, Merce Cunningham are my fave modern companies.

Wow, Regan, thanks for that! Larry would be so pleased to know that someone still remembers him as a dancer.

I remember one time around20 years ago we were visiting New York, and went into a used book store. In the “antique book” section there was a dance subsection, and in that subsection was a book with an article in it about Larry Grenier. in the “Antique books”!!!!!

He said he didn’t know whether to laugh out loud or hide somewhere and cry.
